Over the course of nearly 8 years doing this job that I adore, I have been honored to make some really wonderful connections. There is one family in particular that I couldn’t imagine not seeing yearly or on a regular basis. I have loved, not only watching their family grow through the years, but because of them, I have been able to be a part of their extended family as well. This “branch” was an exceptionally adorable family as they welcomed baby number 5 to their home! She’s perfect!

Sometimes things are no accident. I had been delayed in posting this session to the blog and while I was, this precious family lost a very loved member….Macho, their dog. I have had the honor of photographing this family for 4 years and have enjoyed getting to know them as well as Macho. For any of my longtime blog follower friends…you may remember Calvin and Mia and anyone who had visited my downtown studio would surely remember them as their session from 4 years ago adorned my wall! I still very much love that session and I haven’t seen them since….until this summer that is! YAY! They have grown so much but they haven’t lost any of their spunk!

Because I cover all of MA and RI, rarely are my sessions any closer than an hour and a half away. It’s just what I am used to and I actually love getting to travel and see more of MA and RI than I would have otherwise. This session was literally right down the road from where I live. It’s gorgeous and I was thrilled to get the chance! Despite the crazy “no seeums” that drove us out of there fast, the kids made it easy for me!
